LOVERS AND LIARS is the female spinoff of the hit HBO Max reality dating series FBOY ISLAND\, which Nikki hosted and executive produced for three seasons. The Washington Post hailed FBOY ISLAND as “deliciously twisty” and TIME called it a “compelling and clever masterpiece” with “smart execution” noting that\, “An advisor to the women and a gentle antagonist to the FBoys\, Glaser\, a comedian\, brings just the right level of self-aware humor.” Season one of FBOY ISLAND had the biggest premiere weekend for an HBO Max Original reality series since the platform’s launch. \nNikki took her love of reality TV to the next level by starring in\, and executive producing\, the E! half-hour reality sitcom WELCOME HOME NIKKI GLASER? Uprooted from her fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle\, Nikki returns to her hometown of St. Louis where she embarks on a hilarious and often uncomfortable journey of self-discovery. Unfiltered\, relatable\, and unapologetically herself\, Nikki navigates friends\, family\, and romance as a homegrown local celebrity. \nPreviously\, Nikki flexed her over-sharing muscle as the host of Comedy Central’s first live daily morning show\, YOU UP WITH NIKKI GLASER for SiriusXM\, which ran from February 2018 to October 2020. Nikki’s most recent Netflix comedy special\, BANGIN’\, was released in October 2019. BANGIN’ was the most watched special on Netflix when it premiered. Nikki hosted\, cocreated and executive produced the critically acclaimed and daring comedic show\, NOT SAFE WITH NIKKI GLASER\, for Comedy Central and NIKKI & SARA LIVE for MTV. \nNikki was a standout at the Comedy Central Roasts of Alec Baldwin\, Bruce Willis\, and Rob Lowe\, which led to her guest-hosting JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE! and hosting the inaugural edition of the 2021 MTV MOVIE & TV AWARDS: UNSCRIPTED\, which earned her stellar reviews. She also had memorable film and television roles in Judd Apatow’s TRAINWRECK\, NBC’s AP BIO and INSIDE AMY SCHUMER\, amongst others. In November 2022 Nikki was a triumph coming in third place on the ninth season of the hit FOX series THE MASKED SINGER. \nNikki has multiple stand-up specials and late-night tv appearances in which she jokes about her most humiliating moments as a woman in the modern world. Nikki’s past and current struggles with anorexia\, depression\, and anxiety are fair game in both her stand-up\, and in-depth interviews with THE HOWARD STERN SHOW\, WTF with MARC MARON\, CONAN O ́BRIEN NEEDS A FRIEND and THE JOE ROGAN EXPERIENCE. She has become a complete open book on mic for the laughs and as the empowering voice for women that she yearned for as a confused adolescent. \nParking Info:\nThe Alabama Theatre is not responsible for parking and does not provide any free parking.\nParking meters are free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday.\nPlease be aware of tow-away zones. SUMMARY:"Weird Al" Yankovic: The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent Ill-Advised Vanity Tour with Special Guest Emo Philips
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets\n \nAlmost four years after his first foray into unfamiliar concert territory with his highly-acclaimed Ridiculously Self-Indulgent\, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour\, “Weird Al” Yankovic is pressing his luck again\, this time with The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent\, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour. The tour marks Weird Al’s long-anticipated return to the concert stage after his hugely successful Strings Attached Tour in 2019 where he performed each night alongside a full symphony orchestra. \nOnce again drawing from his back catalogue of 14 studio albums\, Weird Al promises to deliver a different set list every night\, with no two shows the same. As before\, rather than focusing on the hits from his career\, the show will feature Yankovic’s non-parody material – the somewhat more obscure pastiches and original songs that have largely escaped the pop culture radar but are adored by his long-time fans. And like the last Vanity Tour\, he is leaving behind the high-octane theatrics that he’s known for and going bare-bones – no costumes\, no props\, no video screens… just Al and his band of almost four decades in smaller\, more intimate venues\, hanging out on stage\, playing music. \n—————- \n“Weird Al” Yankovic is the biggest-selling comedy recording artist of all time. A five-time Grammy winner\, his 2014 release Mandatory Fun was the first comedy album in history to debut at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200. He is one of only five artists to have had Top 40 singles in each of the last four decades\, the other four being Michael Jackson\, Madonna\, U2\, and Kenny G. On August 27\, 2018 the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce awarded Weird Al with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. \nLegendary comedian Emo Philips has performed over 7000 stand-up comedy shows across the globe\, including a two-week theater run in London’s West End. Career highlights include his acclaimed comedy album E=MO Squared and the hour-long HBO special Emo Philips Live at the Hasty Pudding Theatre. Emo is especially proud\, however\, of when he got to demonstrate the proper use of a table saw to Weird Al in the film UHF. \nCOVID -19 Requirements for this performance have been adusted. \nProof of Vaccination and or a Negative Covid test are not required. \nMasks may be required for adults depending on local requirements or other health factors at the time of the concert. \nAll VIP Attendees MUST wear masks during our pre-show event if they are chosen to play Jeopardy and during the post-show meet and greet. \n  \nParking Info: \nThe Alabama Theatre is not responsible for parking and does not provide any free parking for concerts. \nParking meters are free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday. \nPlease be aware of tow-away zones. Lots marked “permit parking only” are tow-away zones and they will tow your vehicle at your expense.

SUMMARY:Leanne Morgan: Big Panty Tour
DESCRIPTION:Buy Tickets \n \nDoors open at 6 p.m.\, show starts at 7 p.m. \nOutback Presents is pleased to announce comedian Leanne Morgan‘s first national headlining tour will continue across the United States in 2022.  Today\, the rising star revealed The Big Panty Tour will bring her hit stand-up comedy routine to the masses in 37 new cities. \n“I’ll be coming to a city near you and it’s going to be so much fun! Come as you are with the people you love. I’ll have on big panties\, and I suggest you do too! If you want to laugh and have a good time\, get your tickets and I’ll see you there. We’ll have a ball. Oh\, and people in little panties are welcome\, too. XOXO\,” says Morgan. \nMorgan’s style of comedy combines her southern charm and hilarious story telling about her own life into an act that keeps fans coming back for more. As a married stay-at-home mother of three\, people often accuse Morgan of spying on them because she seems to be living their same life. The fact that so many can relate to her comedy has made Morgan a hit even among the strangest of audiences. \n“Leanne is a one-of-a-kind comedian\,” notes Morgan’s manager Matt Van De Water. “Outback is the best comedy promoter in the business. I have no doubt the pairing will result in sold out shows everywhere. I can’t wait!” \n“We are very excited to collaborate with Leanne on launching the next stage of her career\,” adds Outback Presents show coordinator Taylor Freeman. “Her ability to tell a story and connect with her audience comes so naturally\, and she is a total pro. This is going to be a great year for her and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.” \nMorgan is exclusively represented by Valentijn Sloot at the Gersh Agency and Matt Van De Water at Caravan Management. \nWhile performing in San Antonio\, Morgan was asked to appear at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and shortly thereafter appeared on ABC’s The View in a comical housewife segment. She appeared as a finalist on Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom and toured three years with the Southern Fried Chicks. She has appeared in comedy clubs\, performing arts centers\, and theaters all over the nation. She held a contract with Warner Brothers and ABC to develop a sitcom based on her comedy and also collaborated with legendary writer/producer Matt Williams (“Roseanne\,” “Home Improvement”) on a half-hour comedy project. Her celebrity fans include Dr. Phil and Paula Deen. She has appeared on both of their shows.  Her comedy is in daily rotation at Sirius. \nFor more information on Leanne Morgan\, visit leannemorgan.com. \nAbout Leanne Morgan \nLeanne knew at the age of 5 that she wanted to be a comedian but being born and raised right outside of Nashville\, in Middle Tennessee\, in a farming community of 500 people\, she didn’t know how in the world it was going to happen. She grew up loving comedy and her very funny and encouraging mother\, Lucille\, allowed her to skip kindergarten to stay home and watch Hollywood Squares and Match Game.  At age 10\, after “killing” in the 4-H talent show\, she was bitten by the performance bug. \nAfter graduating from high school\, Leanne was feeling the lure of Hollywood\, but the idea of moving was unheard of and too daunting for a country girl who had never been away from home\, so she enrolled in college at The University of Tennessee\, where she graduated (by the skin of her teeth) with a degree in Child and Family Studies. Her greatest desire in life was to be a mother. She married her husband Chuck and they moved to Bean Station\, TN in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.  Chuck owned a mobile home refurbishing business and Leanne worked with him…for a very short time. Chuck liked to boss and Leanne wasn’t one to be bossed\, so she decided to get pregnant instead! \nAfter having her first baby\, she was in absolute heaven\, but she still had a tug in her heart to do stand-up. To make a little spending money\, Leanne started selling jewelry at home parties. She was supposed to talk about the jewelry but instead talked about breastfeeding\, hemorrhoids and being a mama. Women thought she was funny\, somebody peed on a couch and before she knew it she was booked out a year in advance. The company saw what was happening and asked her to speak at their sales rallies. It was there that women started saying\, “you need to do stand up!” That gave Leanne the courage to really go for it! \nHer husband sold his business and went to work for a large company that took them to San Antonio. Leanne finally had access to comedy clubs and things quickly started to happen. She appeared on The View’s “Hilarious Housewives” segment\, Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom and has toured with the Southern Fried Chicks. Leanne continued to work theaters\, clubs and corporate events while raising three children with her husband back in Tennessee\, which she still calls home. \nLeanne’s storied career has landed her on stage at the Montreal Comedy Festival and has brought her development deals for her own sitcom with ABC and Warner Brothers\, writer/producer Matt Williams (“Rosanne” and “Home Improvement”)\,TV Land and currently with Sony Television. I guess you could say she’s the Mrs. Maisel of Appalachia! \nClips from Leanne’s Dry Bar Comedy Special “So Yummy” garnered over 50 million views and opened her up to a whole new audience. Her fan base continued to grow when she shared heartfelt messages and Jell-O salad recipes from her back porch during the pandemic\, and assured people that “everything’s gonna be alright.” Her relatability makes everyone feel as if she’s talking directly to them! \nNow after 22 years in comedy\, Leanne is embarking on her 100-city Big Panty Tour across the U.S. with Outback Presents. Leanne is a wife and mother of three from Knoxville\, TN.  Now that her children are grown\, Leanne is so grateful to have this opportunity at this time in her life. And to top it all off\, she’s got a new grandbaby….SO YUMMY! \nAbout Outback Presents \nOutback Presents is the leading independent\, full-service promoter of live entertainment. From their home base in Nashville\, TN\, Outback Presents specializes in producing music and comedy shows\, tours and festivals across North America and connecting their diverse roster of artists with their fans.
