The Dance Foundation Spring Recitals
May 1, 2021 - May 2, 2021
For detailed information, please visit https://thedancefoundation.org/class/spring-performances/ or check with your dancer’s instructor for more information.
“It is extremely important that all students arrive in costume and stage ready on time and no earlier. The recitals run back to back and TDF staff will not be available to receive your child before their scheduled arrival time. There will also be cleaning in between each recital. AUDIENCE SEATING WILL NOT BE OPEN UNTIL YOUR SCHEDULED ARRIVAL TIME TO DROP OFF YOUR DANCER. If you arrive early, you will have to wait outside the theatre on the sidewalk.
All performers will be seated with their class in the audience and remain with their class until the entire recital is over.
We will need as much time as possible to clean the theatre between shows. Please exit the building as soon as you pick up your child. Pictures and visiting can take place outside the theatre on the sidewalk.”
*The City of Birmingham is continuing a mask ordinance even though the state mask mandate has expired.*
Masks are required at all times, including while taking photos. Capacity is extremely limited due to covid-19 restrictions. Please check with the dance studio for scheduling and guidelines for guest entry.
Concessions will be open but will be serving a limited menu.
By entering the Alabama Theatre you are confirming that you do not have any covid-19 symptoms and promise to follow all health and safety guidelines presented by the Alabama Theatre and event organizers.
The Historic Alabama Theatre is a Ticketmaster facility.
We can only honor event tickets purchased directly through Ticketmaster. Tickets bought from individuals or third party sites (StubHub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, etc.) may not be valid. If you purchase tickets through those sites or individuals you risk purchasing invalid tickets. To guarantee that your ticket be honored, you must purchase through Ticketmaster online. For Ticketmaster customer service, contact (800) 653-8000.
Why can't I buy from somewhere else?
If there is a problem with your ticket, the only way that we can look it up in the ticketing system is if it was purchased from Ticketmaster. You must be able to show identification that matches the name on the ticket, show the account number that was used to purchase the ticket or show the credit card that was used for purchase. It is possible for the purchaser of valid tickets to transfer them to another buyer through Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app.
