Steel Magnolias featuring Socially Distanced Reserved Seating

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 1 at 10 a.m.
Join us for a socially-distanced movie at the Alabama Theatre, the Showplace of the South. Tickets are $10 each. This show is reserved seating only to ensure that parties are able to sit six feet apart. Seats will be sold in pods of 2 and 4. You must purchase the entire pod. For inquiries about large group seating contact Lauren at lauren@alabamatheatre.com. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. to allow guests to be seated without crowding. The show will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Mighty Wurlitzer Organ will be played at the beginning of the show. Masks are required to be worn at all times except for when eating and drinking. All guests will have their temperature taken before entry. In order to make transactions as quick and safe as possible, cash will not be accepted at the box office or concessions; cards only will be accepted.
This event is a fundraiser for Birmingham Landmarks, Inc., the nonprofit organization that owns and operates the Alabama Theatre and Lyric Theatre. Due to health and safety concerns the Alabama and Lyric have been closed since March, cancelling or rescheduling more than 100 events.
The Historic Alabama Theatre is a Ticketmaster facility.
We can only honor event tickets purchased directly through Ticketmaster. Tickets bought from individuals or third party sites (StubHub, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, etc.) may not be valid. If you purchase tickets through those sites or individuals you risk purchasing invalid tickets. To guarantee that your ticket be honored, you must purchase through Ticketmaster online. Why can't I buy from somewhere else?
If there is a problem with your ticket, the only way that we can look it up in the ticketing system is if it was purchased from Ticketmaster. You must be able to show identification that matches the name on the ticket, show the account number that was used to purchase the ticket or show the credit card that was used for purchase. It is possible for the purchaser of valid tickets to transfer them to another buyer through Ticketmaster.com or the Ticketmaster app.
