Birmingham Landmarks, Inc., a 501c3 organization, operates in the black year in and year out. However, there are never enough revenues left over to do the major maintenance repairs that come up frequently such as a new $660,000 air conditioning system, $450,000 for an expanded women’s restroom and $200,000 to return the 3rd Avenue North iconic vertical Alabama sign.
